The October 2013 edition of the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative, (WODDI) prayer summit with the theme, “Hunger to Succeed” has taken place at the government house Chapel, Owerri
Addressing the participants,
the wife of the Imo State governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha, the
initiator of the programme noted that
most women have failed in their responsibilities as home builders resulting in
social vices and urged them to always thirst for righteousness
Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha charged the women
to be humble in order to succeed and not to allow what people say about them
puff their heads up
The Imo first lady commended
Imo women, the clergy, government officials and Imo people for their role in
the success recorded by the Rescue Mission government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha
and told them not to relent
She underscores the
importance of praises and prayers to success and enjoins Christians to trust in
God and obey his instructions
The guest speaker on the
occasion, Pastor Abiola Olatunji of the First Love Assembly Church, Owerri
expresses appreciation to God for using the wife of the governor to touch the
lives of the less priviledge as well as the positive changes going on in the
State
Pastor Olatunji while
describing success as the carrying out what God wants one to do, said God
created everyone to be successful in life and urged Christians to abstain from
sin to achieve God’s purpose for them
The clergyman enjoined those
who are successful in life to use their position to affect others positively
and urged them to return glory to God, otherwise their success will turn to a
curse
