IMO GOVERNMENT SYMPATHIZES WITH THE RETURNEE VICTIMS OF BOKO HARAM

The Imo State government has urged Imo indigenes residing in the State to lend a helping hand by assisting in rehabilitation and reintegration of the returnee victims of Boko Haram who were displaced of their abode in the Northern States.

The wife of the governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha who represented the governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha stated this on the occasion of a charity programme held at the the Ahiajoku Convention Center, New Owerriorganized for the Imo indigenes who are returnee victims of Boko Haram crisis in some parts of  Northern Nigeria
Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha said the occasion was designed to express the government’s deep feelings of sympathy to these our brothers and sisters who are now going through pain and agony.

The Imo State first lady enjoined them to take heart and be consoled that they came back alive and assured them of the State government’s readiness to continue to assist in their reintegration, while praying God to grant the souls of the departed in the crisis eternal rest
