Imo First Lady tasks Catholic Women Organiastion (CWO) to be home builders

The wife of the governor of Imo State, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has reiterated her call on women to be prayerful in order to succeed in their roles as home and nation builders / managers.

Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha made the call when the executive members of the Catholic Women Organization  (CWO) of Orlu Diocesan paid her a courtesy call in her office at the government house, Owerri, Imo State.

She commended them for their support to the State government through prayers and urged them to sustain it while describing prayer as the bedrock of society

She intimated them with her SNARP programme aimed at providing shelter for indigent widows in society and call for assistance in locating indigent widows in their areas that need shelters.

Speaking earlier, the President of the association, Lady Anne Obioha thanked the wife of the governor for her contributions in the transformation going on in the State and pledged for their continued support.
 
In another development, the wife of the governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has condoled with the family of the former governor of Imo State, Dr. Sam Mbakwe over the death of their 23 year old grandson, Gregory Shane Chukwuemeka Mbakwe

Speaking at Avutu, Obowo, the country home of late Dr. Sam Mbakwe, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha advised the family members not to mourn like people without faith

She described the loss as colossal and prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss

She advised them to hold on to God especially at this moment of grief and prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest

The grandmother of the deceased, Mrs. Victoria Mbakwe described him as caring intelligent. Humble and commended the wife of the governor for identifying with their family
