NNEOMA NKECHI OKOROCHA URGES PEOPLE TO LEAVE A LASTING LEGACY

The wife of the governor of Imo State, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has urged people to leave a lasting legacy while alive as they will serve as reminders to others that they really existed on earth when they were gone.

She stated this at St. Paul’s Catholic Parish, Nuya, in Isikwiato, Abia State during a thanksgiving mass and reception of Very Rev. Fr. Raph. Madu, Secretary General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja

She described the celebrant as an embodiment of knowledge, tolerance, honesty, and kindness as well as a teacher and an administrator who has been impacting positively on the life of many and urged other Nigerians to emulate him.

Speaking at the occasion, the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Archdiocese, His Grace, Anthony Obinna advised the celebrant to continue to use his talents to serve the Church both at the National and Local levels and prayed God to grant him the grace to succeed

In his homily at the occasion, Very Rev. Fr. Austin Echema enjoined Christians to always show gratitude to God for his goodness adding that thanksgiving provokes God to do more

He described the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as the foundation of Christian faith and advised Christians to always receive him as their Lord and personal Saviour
