ISOPADEC hails Imo First Lady for examplary leadership


The executives of Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Authority (ISOPADEC) women association have expressed satisfaction with the leadership role played by Her Excellency, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha in the Government of Imo State.

The group made their observations known when the paid her a courtsey visit at the Government House, Owerri recently.
Speaking during the occasion, the President of the group, Mrs. Theresa Ohanwuka said the aim of the visit was to show their solidarity and commended the State government for appointing their son, Prince Henry Okafor as the Managing Director, ISOPADEC

Mrs. Ohanwuka furthermore lauded the monumental achievements of the present administration in the State as well as the life changing programme of the wife of the governor, (SNARP) aimed at providing shelter to indigent widows in  the State 


Earlier in a remark, the wife of the governor of Imo State, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha stressed on the importance of peace and unity in the development of society.

Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha stated this when the executives of ISOPADEC women association paid her a courtesy visit in her office at the government house Owerri.

She commended the efforts of the women in assisting the government tackle the problem facing the oil producing areas such as youth restiveness.

The Imo First lady thanked them for contributing to the growth of the State through skill acquisitions with soft loans and enjoined them to continue to support the present government.

In response to the request of the group, the wife of the governor said plans were under way to ensure that women and youths in the State were empowered especially through skill acquisition and urged them to be patient
