IMO FIRST LADY COMMISSIONS MORE BUILDINGS



In fulfillment of her plans and aspiration for the total eradication of shanty houses among the indigent widows in the State, the wife of the governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has commissioned more buildings constructed and furnished for some indigent widows in Owerri west, Owerri Municipal and Owerri Northn LGAs under the programme She Needs A Roof Project (SNARP)

While handing over the buildings to the beneficiaries, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha maintained that the essence of living is being able to touch the lives of the downtrodden and the less priviledged in society

Speaking at the occasion, the former Minister of Interior, Rtd. Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho, the Chief of Staff, Government House Imo State, Sir Jude Ejiogu, and Sole Administrator of Owerri west LGA Engr. Nelson Arnold as well as that of the Owerri Municipal, Mr. Paschal Ujah thanked the wife of the governor for the kind gestures and prayed God to grant her long life and sustain the good works.

In their remarks, the member for Ikeduru State Constituency in the House, Sam Daddy Anyanwu, the Sole Administrator of Owerri  North, Engr.  Chuks Ololo, Sir C. U. Chikwe as well as Mrs. Ogechi Ololo described the wife of the governor as a woman of vision

For the beneficiaries it seems as if they are still in dream hence they burst in prayerful tears of joy, offering praises and prayers of thanks unto the wife of the governor for her benevolence and magnanimity and asking God to grant her more
blessings.
