The wife of the governor of Imo State, Nneoma Nkechi
Okorocha has stressed on the importance of peace and unity to the development
of the State
Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha expressed this when the executives
of the Women wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) and their
youth counterpart (YOWICAN) Imo State chapter paid her a courtesy visit in her
office at the government house.
The Imo first lady commended CAN Imo State chapter for
assisting the government to ensure that peace reigns in the State.
She thanked the members of the group for their support
especially through prayers during election that brought Gov. Rochas Okorocha
into power and promised them that she will do all within her power to ensure a
successful hosting of their Women wing forth coming National Conference in the
State.
The leader of the group and State Director of the
Education Directorate of the WOWICAN and YOWICAN, Pastor Divine Eches, the
Acting Chairman Youth Wing, Elder Okey Orji and Mrs. Edikpaby Korie commended
the State government for its achievement so far and pledged their continued
support
In another development, wife of the governor of Imo State
Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha has charged the wives of the 27 Sole Administrators in
the State to assist government develop rural communities by encouraging their
husbands
Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha stated this when she received the
wives of the Sole Administrators in her office and appealed them to always pray
for their husbands to deliver the goods and the State in general as well as
avoid gossips and other acts capable of tarnishing their image

Administrator Ideato South LGA, Mrs. Anne Nwokeji said they came to pledge
their support to the present State government
