Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha stated this at the 2013
September edition of the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative (WODDI) prayer
meeting with the theme, “Giving Thanks to God” held at the Government House
Chapel Owerri
Her Excellency further said those who put their trust in God
do exploits and attributed the success of the just concluded August meeting as
well as the transformation going on in the State by the Owelle led
administration to God
The Imo first lady thanked God for the peace and tranquility
in the State and for affecting Imo women and families effectively through the
monthly prayer meeting while appreciating Imo women for their love and support
to the rescue mission government
She praised everybody who contributed to the success of this
year’s August meeting and prayed God to strengthen them
In his sermon on the occasion, the Government House Chaplain,
Pastor Bunmi BBabs said there is a purpose for which God has created every
person and exhort Christians to live life of thanksgiving and joy to overcome
their challenges
The occasion featured prayers, songs of praises and worship,
testimonies and special renditions.
