GOVERNOR’S WIFE PROMISES ABOUT HUNDRED TWO BEDROOM BUNGALOWS FOR INDIGENT WOMEN.

























The wife of the Imo State governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha in order to alleviate the sufferings of indigent widows which she believes is better imagined than experienced has promised to build and furnish about one hundred of two bedroom apartments under her She Needs A Roof Project (SNARP) for those living in shanties in the State before the year ends

Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha stated this at Abazu Umueze in Ogwa of Mbaitolu LGA during an inspection tour of the site for two bedroom apartments under construction for Mrs.  Charity Nwosu in continuation of her project She Needs A Roof Programme  (SNARP) which aimed at given indigent widows in the State who live in shanties a sense of belonging by providing them with shelter

She said the essence of living is impacting positively on the lives of the downtrodden and used the occasion to once more remind the wealthy in society that it is a duty to assist the less priviledged among them as such act attracts God’s blessings.

Her Excellency Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha maintained that for one to contribute meaningfully in the society, one needs to live in a conducive environment   

In their reactions, the member of the Mbaitolu State Constituency, Dr. Victor Ndunagu, the wife of the Imo State Chairman of Traditional Rulers, Ugoeze Ohiri, the LGA APGA chairman, Sheriff, the traditional Prime Minister of the community, Chief George Asih, among others were full of praises for the wife of the governor saying that the gesture was the first of its kind to the community and assured of their total support to the Owelle Rochas Okorocha led administration with its Rescue Mission agenda.

The beneficiary of her Excellency’s magnanimity, Mrs. Charity Nwosu and children could not hide their joy as they burst into songs of joy and praises and prayed God to continue to bless the Imo First lady and her family for touching the lives of the less priviledged positively
